Noodle Bowl – Ramen with Mince
SERVES: 4 DIFFICULTY: Easy COOKING TIME: 20 minutes
INGREDIENTS
270g Hakubaku Organic Ramen
500g mince (pork, beef, turkey or chicken)
1 tbsp corn flour
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
white pepper, to taste
1 tbsp ginger, grated
1 tbsp crushed garlic
1 cup chicken or vegetable stock
150g sugar snap peas
4 spring onions, sliced
METHOD
- Mix mince with corn flour, all sauces, sesame oil, sugar and pepper.
- Heat 1 tbs oil in a pan. Sauté ginger and garlic (1-2 min), add mince. Brown meat well.
- Add stock and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Whilst mince is simmering, cook ramen as per the packet directions.
- Boil sugar snap peas for 4 minutes
- Divide ramen and peas into 4 bowls. Top with mince mix, garnish with spring onion and serve.
