Hakubaku Coleslaw
SERVES: 4 DIFFICULTY: Medium COOKING TIME: 4 minutes
Level up your coleslaw with crunch from unexpected ingredients – a terrific side dish
INGREDIENTS
- 270g Hakubaku Organic Ramen noodles
- 1/2 green cabbage, finely sliced
- 1/2 red cabbage, finely sliced
- 1 cup spring onions, cut into rounds
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds, lightly dry-toasted
- 1/4 cup almonds, lightly dry-toasted
DRESSING
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1.5 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1.5 tbsp canola oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- salt and pepper to taste
METHOD
- Cook Hakubaku Organic Ramen as per pack instructions. Drain, rinse and drain again. Place in a large bowl and set aside.
- Place all dressing ingredients in a jar. Shake well to combine.
- Place sliced green and red cabbage, spring onions, sesame seeds and almonds in the bowl of Ramen.
- Just before serving, pour dressing over and gently mix through.
