Satisfying Salmon bowl – Spring 2015 Merit

Serves: 1

Style: Western

Difficulty: Easy


1 piece of Salmon, previously cooked for a quicker cooking time
1 serving of Soba Noodles
1 cucumber, sliced or made into noodles
1 handful of beans, chopped in half
6 almonds, roughly chopped
1 tablespoon of tamari sauce, more if that is your personal preference
1/2 tablespoon of sesame seeds

Satisfying Salmon bowl – Spring 2015 Merit


Step 1

If using previously cooked salmon, reheat if you wish.

If cooking salmon now, cook on each side for around 4 minutes or until cooked through.

Step 2

Cook Soba Noodles according to packet directions.

Whilst cooking the Soba, prepare and chop vegetables and nuts

Drain the noodles, mix/add in the cucumber and beans then roughly chopped almonds.

Step 3

Once Salmon is cooked or heated to your liking add to the bowl and mix gently to combine
Drizzle tamari over bowl then sprinkle sesame seeds over the top.
